Couch to 5K Training (Lancaster Wisconsin) The 7 week series is a complimentary bonus if you’ve registered for the Fun Run/Walk on August 27 Meeting July 11 – August 22 Mondays at 5:30 p.m at Grant Regional Health Center Cost: $15 per person
The Back to Class Dash and a kids' mini challenge where children (ages 5-12) can test their ability to conquer an inflatable obstacle course and some additional challenges. Course will be at the Lancaster high school and parents must accompany children. Then following the kids event, our new event will feature the regular 5K course (but the route will be in reverse) and will include several optional obstacle courses designed to provide an extra challenge for those interested. The ‘optional add-on’ obstacles can include: running/walking, climbing, tire run, balancing, and maneuvering your way through the route.
Participants can EITHER run or walk the course as in the past, or TAKE THE CHALLENGE! There are several stops along the route that offers fun and competition for athletes of all ages and abilities. Get set to tackle the challenges, cheer others on, and have fun – all while being more active!
Our Challenge 5K Fun Run/Walk is a unique opportunity to bring our surrounding communities together to have fun, get more active and foster healthy lifestyle changes. There’s fun for the entire family!
